Ethical breeding is a term used to encompass breeding practices that truly has not only the individual dog's best interest in mind, but the entire breed(s).  Sustainable breeding is a term that encompasses canines as a whole in regards to their co-existence with humans, and the complex issues of dog over-population, and the need for shelters and rescues.

Simply put, sustainable, ethical breeding means we have a system of standards and guidelines in place, as Certified Blue Ribbon Breeders of GANA (Goldendoodle Associate of North America), that protect the dog at the individual level, breed level, and species level, and make sure that we are not adding to the problem, but being part of the solution.
